Fulfill your borrower training requirement with our FSA Approved Borrower Training Course!

The Farm Service Agency (FSA) offers a number of loan packages for farmers and ranchers who need to borrow money to start, expand, sustain, or make changes to their businesses. As part of the loan agreement, FSA often requires borrowers to complete training in production, financial management, or both. If you are required to complete training as part of your loan agreement, you will have 2 years from loan closing to complete the training.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a self-paced course the can be completed on your schedule. The course is broken-down into 9 modules. Across the 9 modules are 50 videos that total 7 hours of viewing time. You can watch all the videos in one sitting or over a period of time.
At the end of each module there's a quiz to test your knowledge. Once you've completed all the modules, you will be prompted to take the final quiz.
You will be offered two tries to pass each quiz (by 80%).
After you pass the final quiz, you will be able to download a certificate of completion. You will also be prompted to fill out an FSA form to send along with your certificate to your FSA loan officer.
